Coaxial needles are designed for multifocal soft tissue biopsies (i.e. for taking multiple samples through one external puncture). Coaxial needles are used when multiple samples are to be obtained from the same area. To do this, after local anesthesia, first a coaxial needle of the required size is inserted, and then a biopsy needle of the appropriate size is inserted inside the coaxial needle, using the coaxial needle as a channel for the biopsy needle. After receiving the column, the biopsy needle is removed, and the angle of introduction of the coaxial needle is changed to the desired one to obtain the next sample.
Available colors: blue (12G), green (14G), white (16G), pink (18G), yellow (20G).
