The results of the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Practical Meetings on Breast Cancer"
Based on the results of the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Practical Meetings on Breast Cancer", held on October 18–19, 2024, in Vinnytsia, the following conclusions can be made:
The incidence of breast cancer in women remains an extremely pressing issue that requires constant attention and analysis. Topics related to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of this disease were discussed in detail, emphasizing the importance of timely medical consultation.
The exchange of experience, skills, and knowledge among oncologists and mammologists at such specialized events proves to be highly effective. Special attention was given to discussing unique and atypical cases of the disease, possible complications, and methods for addressing them.
Live broadcasts from operating rooms, where conference participants could observe surgeries in real-time and pose questions to operating surgeons, became a significant element of the educational process. This allowed attendees to familiarize themselves with various treatment approaches, compare colleagues' techniques, and receive answers to urgent questions.
The "live surgery" session, organized at a high level, attracted particular attention. It demonstrated itself as an exceptionally effective method of communication and education, combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
